June 2020 Employee of the Month:

Ricardo Pereyra Garcia

Ricardo has been at Colony a little over a year now. He is a Sweeper Truck Operator but has now also driven a lowboy, water truck, and dump truck. He says his favorite truck to drive has been the lowboy. He loves how his job is different every day.

​

Ricardo talked about his three children. He has one daughter and two sons. His son Enrique is 13 and his youngest son Adrian is 6. His daughter Jennifer just received her associate's degree in psychology and he is very proud of her. 

​

Ricardo and his family have recently added to the Pereyra Garcia household with 22 chickens! He said they get about 9 eggs a day and his youngest son Adrian loves helping with them. 

​

Project Manager & Senior Estimator, Brian Miffleton shared his compliments about Ricardo. "An absolutely dedicated, quality oriented trooper of an employee. Ricardo has covered a paving crew and up to two milling crews during the same day. Ricardo also has a Class A license and is able to haul equipment when needed in addition to hauling materials. Ricardo's positivity is contagious and he is a pleasure to work with."
