September 2021 Employee of the Month:

Stephen Reynolds

 

Stephen has worked at Colony just over one year. He is a dump truck driver who came to us from the Department of Corrections. Even though Stephen has been in our trucking department a short time, he has earned the nickname Steve-O from his co-workers. When Stephen talked about his experience at Colony, he said he likes everyone he works with and likes everything about his job.

Stephen has four children ranging from ages 2 to 14 years. Stephen also has quite a few pets - seven dogs including a 220 lb. Great Dane Mastiff, two cats, two pigs and eighteen chickens and roosters. Stephen loves the outdoors, loves hunting and fishing and experiencing the outdoors with family and friends. He enjoys cooking, and some of his favorites are venison and fried frog legs, especially after hunting them.

Co-worker, Coop Trent, had this to say about Stephen. “Stephen is a very hard worker and he was part of my night work crew. Stephen was always on time and if I needed anything he would always help out with no problem. I like Stephen and we need more hard workers like him. He is willing to learn more than just driving a dump truck and worked the entire night shift this year.”
