June 2025 Employee of the Month:

Chanda Chalkley

Chanda is a CDL Truck Driver here at Colony and she is currently working out of our Burkeville Asphalt Plant.

 

When asked what she enjoys most about her role, Chanda shared, “The people here, my coworkers, my team, are very awesome. Some days can be challenging, but they always have my back.”

 

Outside of work, Chanda enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends. She is a proud mother of two and a loving grandmother to two grandchildren. In her downtime, it’s important to her to take time to relax.

 

Safety Director, Brian Lewis shared, “Chanda consistently performs her assigned tasks without hesitation and has been a stabilizing member of the Burkeville Driver Corps. Having a member of the team, who understands that things change day by day and can move the ball down the field is critical to the success of Colony.”
