Daniel Thornton

Daniel has been with us for 7 years and currently plays a key role in our Asphalt Plant Division at our Burkeville Asphalt Plant.

 

When asked about his work, Daniel shared that he enjoys the change of pace each day brings and appreciates his team around him. “I can’t thank the guys I work with enough.”

 

Outside of work, Daniel is a proud family man. He and his wife have been together for 8 years and will celebrate their second wedding anniversary this August. They have a home full of boys thanks to their 1-year-old son Micah, a new baby boy on the way, and Daniel’s two nephews. Daniel is definitely an outdoorsman and enjoys hunting and fishing in his free time.

 

Asphalt Plant Division Manager, Cody Swann shared, “Daniel has excelled at running daily operations at the Asphalt Plant. We can call him anytime of day or evening and he will drop what he’s doing to help out. Daniel is and will always be an asset for Colony Construction.”

 

Asphalt Plant Manager, Robbie Powers added, “Daniel has continued to grow his knowledge of the Asphalt Plant from maintenance to operation and production. Even down to the paperwork side of the plant. He is always on time and willing to stay late to make sure the job is done. I have really been able to depend on him. He will help with any situation that comes up no matter what the task is, from helping the drivers with their truck down to working on the plant equipment. He has grown into such a great asset to the Colony family.”
