March 2025 Employee of the Month:

Devon Gilliam

Devon has been with Colony for 2 years. He is now a Screed Operator on Bruce’s Paving Crew. Devon said he has been enjoying running the screed. He and his crew have been paving in Cumberland since the start of our season. Devon said he’s happy to work for a good company and something that he really likes about his job is getting to learn new things.

Outside of work, Devon enjoys hanging out with his kids. He has 6 girls and 1 boy. His oldest is 23 and his youngest is 7. Devon has also been DJing for years and loves DJing for events and parties.

Paving Foreman, Bruce Brice complimented Devon. “Devon is my box truck driver and has worked his way from the shovel to the screed. Devon is a very hard worker and motivates his co-workers to work just as hard! He’s rarely late and almost never misses a day unless it’s scheduled.”
