May 2024 Employee of the Month:

Jawill Paige

Jawill or JP as a lot of people call him, has been here at Colony for 3 years. He’s currently on Derek’s Paving Crew. He’s a Screed & Paver Operator and has recently been training on the Skid Steer as well. 

 

Jawill talked about working at Colony and he said running the screed is his favorite and another favorite part of his job are the people here. 

 

Outside of work, Jawill enjoys playing video games and going out with friends. Jawill hopes to take a trip to Fort Worth, Texas sometime this summer. 

 

Paving Foreman, Derek Haislip said, “Jawill has been going above and beyond this past month. He has been training in the skid steer and learning very quick. He has also been jumping around doing different positions where he is needed between driving the paver to running the screed and still finding time to help the ground guys.”
