September 2024 Employee of the Month:

Jermaine Crawley

Jermaine has worked at Colony for 5 years. He is currently a Milling Machine Operator on Alex’s Milling Crew. Jermaine talked about how he recently started operating the Milling Machine and how it’s been a good challenge and that he’s learning a lot. He said they’ve got a great crew and he enjoys working together with them. Jermaine said, he wants to also give all the praise to his guys on his crew.

 

He wanted to give a shout out to Tyrek Harris, Malik Trent, Kevin Liggins, & Alex Gibbs, along with everyone on his crew!

 

Jermaine has 2 daughters and a 7 month old baby boy. He said the kids are really excited for Halloween and they have a lot of Fall activities coming up. Jermaine’s favorite football team is the Baltimore Ravens. When he’s not at work, Jermaine loves working outside in the yard, staying busy with the kids, and fishing any chance he can.

 

Milling Foreman, Alex Gibbs had great things to say about Jermaine. “He has proven day in and out that he can run the top of the milling machine. He is always early to make sure we have traffic signs in order and he makes sure each truck has fuel and is ready to go. He doesn’t mind helping other Foremen out if they ask him.”

 

Our Parts & Service Manager, Mike Kite also complimented Jermaine. “Every morning he is here loading up for the day, checking in with me to see if they have any parts he can take. Topping off tire pressure and taking the time to look over his truck and equipment. He is always polite and in a good mood, he carries himself very professionally and comes across as an excellent employee.”
