July 2024 Employee of the Month:

Juni Washington

Richard Washington, Jr. or Juni as most of us know him by, has been at Colony for 10 years! He’s been with our Paving Division since he started and is currently on Bruce’s Paving Crew. Juni loves the people he works with and all the comradery at work.

​

A favorite meal of Juni’s is Olive Garden’s chicken alfredo. Outside of work, Juni loves spending time fishing and being with his family and friends. He’s looking forward to Labor Day weekend hanging with family and going to church on Sunday.

​

Juni has been with his high school sweetheart and wife Natalie for 40 years and they have been married for 31 of those years. They have a son, Xavier and a daughter, Janai.

​

Juni happily said, “I’m out here making the dream work. I want to rep for the 40 and over boys. We know the youth is our future, but without us, there is no future!”

​

Bruce Brice, Paving Foreman added, “I want to thank Richard Washington for everything he does. From keeping us all safe when he’s responsible for flaggers and the pilot car, to grabbing a shovel and helping on the ground when needed. He’s also always on time and rarely misses days.”
