April 2024 Employee of the Month:

Kenny Perritt

Kenny has been with Colony for a little over a year now. He is on Dylan’s Milling Crew and has recently become a Broom Operator.

 

Kenny talked about working here at Colony. He said he really likes working with everybody and he likes his coworkers. Kenny enjoys learning opportunities at work and he likes that he gets to do things his own way, while also making sure things are done correctly.

 

When Kenny is not at work, the main thing he enjoys doing is going to the gym and working out. Kenny talked about going to the Outer Banks this summer and is looking forward to this vacation!

 

Milling Foreman, Dylan Tyree had great things to say about Kenny. “This is Kenny’s second year here and he has started to fit in so good! Kenny has always tried his best and has recently taken on the broom as an Operator. He has a good attitude and gets along well with the whole crew! He works hard and always impresses me to this day!”

 

Operations Support Foreman, Coop Trent said, “Kenny is a very hard working guy. He’s very nice and respectful and always keeps a smile on his face. He is always willing to learn.”

 

Project Superintendent, Eddie Fields also complimented Kenny. “He has shown a willingness to learn and do the best he can. He never complains and is always willing to help someone out if needed in completing a task.”
